Please note that waxing can have certain side effects such as redness, swelling, tenderness, heightened sensitivity, bruising, skin lifting, etc.
Hair length should be 1/4” long or length of a grain of rice. I recommend letting hair grow for two weeks from last shave, trim, or hair removal creams. Please exfoliate 24-48 hours prior to your appointment for best results. Exfoliating loosens and removes dead skin cells, improves skin’s texture, and prepares the skin for hair removal. It is recommended to war loose-fitting clothing to your appointment to avoid any further irritation after waxing.
A pain reliever, such as Tylenol, can be taken ahead of your appointment. To avoid any unnecessary irritation after your wax, always come to your appointment fresh, clean and wearing loose fitting clothes.
It is advised to avoid exercise, saunas / steam rooms, pools, hot tubs, hot baths / showers, tanning beds, intercourse, and tight clothing for at least 24-48 hours after your wax. Avoid using loofahs, scrubs, or any other product that can be abrasive on the newly waxed area for at least 48 hours. If using any prescription creams, it is best to wait 7 days after your wax to start using it again.
*Menstruation disclaimer: Waxing on your cycle is fully allowed and is perfectly safe. However, a sanitary menstrual device such as a tampon or cup is required during your service.
Cancellation Policy
Ideally, a 24 hour notice of cancellation is required. I'll always understand we have lives, and things get in the way sometimes, but a quick text, media message, or a call to the salon will work and is greatly appreciated. After a second offense, upon making your next appointment, full payment will be requested before the appointment can be scheduled. Otherwise, being a walk-in client will be another option.
*A client being more than 10 minutes late, may result in the service being rescheduled. And if no call is made to inform. It will be considered a no show offense.
